TWO men, who claimed they had a knife, robbed a woman as she sat in a car.
The victim and a man were sitting in a grey BMW, parked in Fleet Street, Nelson, when the robbers approached the car.
One of the offenders leaned into the open driver’s side window, demanded the woman’s phone, and verbally threatened her, telling the victim they had a knife.
She handed over her phone and her watch, and the two men ran away, towards Bradley Road West.
PC Helen O’Rourke, of Pendle Police, said “This was very distressing for the victims, and has left them understandably shaken.
“I am keen to trace the people responsible. If anyone witnessed anything, or has any information about what happened, then I would urge them to contact us.”
Both men were Asian, around 22 years old, slim, and about 5ft 6ins tall. One of the men was clean shaven and was wearing a black tracksuit top.
The second man was wearing blue jeans, and a grey hooded top.
Anyone with any information about the robbery, which happened at around 7pm on Monday, September 30, should call police on 101. Alternatively, ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
