TWO men have appeared before Blackburn magistrates charge with a gunpoint robbery at the McDonalds restaurant at Ewood on Wednesday.
Sean Andrew Jarvis, 24, of Hollin Bridge Street, Blackburn and Andrew Eric McDermot, 18, of Crossroads Refuge, Accrington, are jointly charged with robbing Kenneth Cheng of £1,410 and possessing a firearm, a Tanfoglio Witness 1911 gas powered BB gun with intent to cause Kenneth Cheng to believe unlawful violence would be used against him.
Both men were sent in custody to Preston Crown court where they will appear on November 6. There were no applications for bail.
