THE new chief executive of Whalley-based Calderstones Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has paid tribute to his predecessor in his first blog post.
Mark Hindle, previously chief operating officer of Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust, wrote: “Can I pay tribute to David Young. I worked alongside him in the run up to taking up the post, and of course we have worked together over the years as well.
“Calderstones has benefitted hugely from his wisdom and his support for service users. I wish David all the best for his retirement.”
Mr Hindle said he was ‘delighted’ to meet patients, staff and members of the trust’s annual meeting and said: “It’s important we start that dialogue now because I want to keep up the momentum of positive changes and great work already being done by the board and by staff around the wards.
“I’m really passionate about the work being done, the welfare of staff and the great quality of services, and there’s plenty more to do.”
