A WARNING has been issued to Rossendale residents after a series of reports about a bogus door-to-door sales company.
Green Vale Homes and Rossendale Council have received a number of calls about a company that claims to sell window blinds or fit burglar alarms at a reduced rate as it is subsidised by landlords and/or the council.
The fraudsters may ask for documents such benefit letters and tax credit details. They have nothing to do with Green Vale Homes or Rossendale Council who will always show you ID. If in doubt do not let the person in, do not sign anything or give out personal details.
