A FUNERAL parlour has put up a special Christmas tree for people to remember lost loved ones.
Co-operative Funeralcare, Duckworth Street, Darwen, is inviting people to help make the festive season a little easier.
People can call in and decorate the tree with cards and pictures of family and friends who have died.
Gordon Whitehead manager for Co-operative Funeralcare, said: "We know that the festive season, in particular, is a time when people look back and remember those they've lost.
"We hope our memorial Christmas tree will again benefit friends and relatives at this difficult time."
The funeral homes are open for visitors from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
