A BUSY Blackburn road is due to be closed to allow drainage and resurfacing works.
Part of Heys Lane, Livesey, Blackburn, will shut on Monday, January 8 for two months.
It will be closed from the junction of Green Row for 400-metres.
Motorists are being advised to take an alternative route via Brokenstone Road, Horden Rake and Livesey Branch Road.
Pedestrians will still have access to the road. As a result of the closure, there will be no access to Tockholes Road via Heys Lane.
