STRICTLY’S Lancashire lass Natalie Gumede took to Twitter to thank all her supporters after Sunday night’s results show.
The Burnley-born Corrie actress tweeted: “Thank you for your votes and support.”
And quoted the show’s catchphrase: “I’m so happy to ‘keeeeeep DANCING’ for another week!”
This week was the first time the celebrities faced the public vote, and the Lancashire Telegraph launched a campaign to make the East Lancashire star this year’s Strictly champion.
Natalie’s wondeful waltz put her second on the leader board again, after being pipped to top spot by Sophie Ellis Bextor’s acrobatic Charleston. But when her scores from last week were combined with her Saturday night result, our girl came out top with 15 points.
