A DRIVER who denies causing the death of a Blackburn College student by dangerous driving said he had not been "charging along".
Apprentice electrician Jonathan Hart, 17, of Harrington Road, Chorley, died at the scene in Leyland in January.
Calvin Wright, 20, of Fell View, Crossens, Southport, said he didn't see Mr Hart's moped until it was too late.
During his trial at Preston Crown Court yesterday he denied that his driving was below standard, and that he had been "charging along."
