POLICE have issued a warning to residents after a bogus repair man stole £400 from a 92-year-old woman in Rawtenstall.
The man knocked on the pensioner's door in Bacup Road and told her he was from the water board and needed to do some repairs.
He then searched the house and left with the cash. He is described as white with short dark hair.
