THE Mayoress of Todmorden, Coun Cheryl Stovin has been reprimanded by Calderdale Standard Committee.
They heard she was a member of Todmorden Development Committee and failed to report that she was a governor of Walsden Primary School, which had submitted a planning application by the school.
She was found to be in breach of Todmorden town council's code of conduct and Coun Stovin was required to give a written apology to Todmorden town council, acknowledging her error of judgement and she was ordered to give a written undertaking to willingly attend future training sessions at Halifax.
