POLICE are reminding householders in Blackburn to keep their homes, sheds, garages and outbuildings secure in the run up to Christmas.
The warning comes after two burglaries occurred in garages sometime between Monday night and Wednesday morning.
The first was in Mount Trinity where offenders forced the lock on a wooden garage and stole a plain silver Claude Butler mountain bike, a red and black Muddy Fox mountain bike, a red Hilti nail gun and a red Hilti screw gun with the name Jason' on the handle.
The second was in Heron Close where offenders smashed the rear window in a garage and stole a red and white Stihl saw, a Dewalt hammer drill, a Dewalt mitre saw and a Dewalt jigsaw.
