police are urging residents not to leave expensive items in their cars overnight after two vehicles were broken into in Kingfisher Court, Oswaldtwistle.
A stereo was stolen from a Volkswagen Polo and a wallet and CDs from a Ford Ka.
Sgt Alan Davies said: "Thieves are always on the look out for easy pickings and leaving valuables in your car makes it a target for crime.
"Always take your belongings with you when you leave your car"
