VOLUNTEERS and pupils from Park High School will be working hard to improve Alkincoats Park, Colne, in a day of path building.
The team will be improving the path in the woodland area at the top of the park, on Wednesday, December 13, in an event organised by the Friends of Alkincoats Park and Pendle Council.
Anyone who would like to join in is welcome to turn up, and meet the park keepers, any time after 10am.
They can stay for as long, or short, a time as they like. The school pupils will be spending the afternoon at the site.
The work party will finish by 4pm.
Parks events officer Rachel Howarth asks everyone to wear warm, weather-proof clothes and footwear.
