UNSUNG heroes of Burnley communities were rewarded for their work and dedication at a special awards ceremony.
Three women were presented with awards for being good neighbours at the SW Burnley Community Enterprise Centre, by the Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire.
Lord Shuttleworth presented Mary McCann, Joan McNally and Rachel Shackleton with certificates, flowers and prizes at the Valley Street centre.
The trio were all nominated by members of their communities earlier this year, for being a good neighbour and having community spirit.
