A motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after his trials bike and a car were involved in a head-on crash was recovering in hospital.
Christopher Walton, 26, from Trawden suffered a broken leg and pelvis in the incident between his Yamaha bike and a Volkswagen Polo, driven by a woman from the village.
He was airlifted to Airedale General Hospital after the incident which happened near New Laith Barn, Burnley Road around 1.25pm on Saturday.
Mr Walton was put on a ventilator but later taken off the machine.
Yesterday he was in a stable condition and doctors hoped to transfer him to a general ward.
Police are waiting to question him about the accident.
