CLASSIC car fans are in for a treat at the Rolls-Royce Social Club in Barnoldswick on Saturday, August 17.
As well as viewing classics such as the Jenson Interceptor along with its American counterpart, the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, people can also take a ride in some of the cars.
The event is being staged by Great Escapes Classic Car Hire, of Harrogate, for the Bosom Friends cancer support group.
There will also be one of the fastest accelerating cars on the road – a Caterham R300 – as well as an MGB Roadster.
The cars will be available for passenger rides from 10am until 2pm and a minimum donation of £5 is required for a 15-minute ride.
Mark Hyde, who is organising the event, said: “This is a great opportunity for classic car fans to examine some of these great vehicles at close hand and experience what it’s like to ride in them, as well as support a brilliant charity that does so much good in the local community and beyond at the same time.”
Anyone who wants to book a ride in their chosen car, or cars, can contact Mark beforehand on 07972 180570 or e-mail him at s.hyde570@btinternet.com.
