A GRANDMOTHER is facing jail after admitting drugs offences, at Burnley Crown Court.
Elona Nuttall, 49, of Tabor Street, Burnley, pleaded guilty to supplying cannabis, possessing the drug with intent to supply and producing cannabis. Her solicitor Richard Taylor told the hearing the defendant would water the crop every now and again when instructed to do so and handed over drugs on somebody else's behalf.
The defendant was bailed until August 23, for a pre- sentence report.
She was warned by Judge Graham Knowles, QC: “All options, very much including a prison sentence, will be open to the judge.”
