PEOPLE who are not vaccinated against measles are at risk, it has been warned.
A total of 962 cases of measles have been confirmed in the UK since the start of the year, the highest number recorded since enhanced surveillance began nearly 20 years ago.
Public Health England said it is important parents of unvaccinated children, teens and adults who may have missed their routine MMR vaccinations, book an appointment with their GP.
Measles is highly infectious and anybody who is unprotected can catch it.
