A CAFE for people with dementia and their families and carers is to be held in Rawtenstall.
The sessions are being run by East Lancashire Community Dementia Forum and will generally involve a presentation or two followed by a discussion.
A spokeswoman for the group said: “You will find a wonderful selection of reasonably priced drinks, cakes and treats in a relaxing, friendly place where everyone is welcome.
“Dementia cafés offer information and advice, but most of all the chance to relax and meet new people who really understand.”
The group will meet at the Annie Peaches Tea Rooms in Lambert Mill on the third Thursday of each month from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
