A TEENAGE singing sensation from Langho opened star-studded concert in Manchester at the weekend after beating 120 other hopefuls.
Ella Shaw, 16, performed at the Manchester Arena show in front of 14,000 people ahead of stars Olly Murs, Union J, and The Wanted.
The former St Augustine’s RC High School pupil won Key 103 FM’s Future Stars talent contest with her dubstep cover of Nina Simone’s ‘Feeling Good’, after two months of voting by the public. She said: “It was unbelievable and such an amazing experience.
“It was great to meet Union J and The Wanted and they knew who I was, which was amazing.
“Olly Murs wished me good luck before I went on stage and I danced with Rudimental during Professor Green’s set.”
Ella’s mum, Janine, said: “We are all so proud of her and she was amazing on the night.
“This could be just the first step for her, which is crazy.”
