SIX weeks of summer internet lessons started in Accrington.
Staff from theSWITCH were on hand with laptops and internet to help residents get online with a range of activities from health advice to money management.
Paul Campbell from theSWITCH said: “We’re here to help residents make the most of the internet, especially if they've never used it before. Whether you want to get online for the first time, do some job search, get help with money or find out how to get more fit and active there’s plenty on offer for all ages and abilities.” Labour councillor Paul Cox said: “I hope that lots of people will come and join us for a cup of tea and to find out more about what’s happening in Accrington this summer.”
The lessons run from 9.15am until noon each week at the Laneside Community House, Ribblesdale Avenue.
