PET owners are being invited to get their dogs microchipped for free on Friday.
Calico Homes and the Dogs Trust have organised the event at the Ennismore Street Community Centre in Burnley from 11am to 3pm.
There are 400 microchips which can be fitted and owners will also be given advice on how to keep their dogs safe and healthy.
Dawn Cardwell, neighbourhood manager, said: “The government recently announced that all dogs will have to be microchipped by 2016. This is a perfect opportunity for Calico customers to get their dogs chipped well in advance.”
Calico’s money wise team will also be attending the event to provide financial and debt advice.
