PEOPLE can get a scan to check if they are at risk of osteoporosis in the first week of August.
Healthcare Screening will be holding sessions across East Lancashire for residents to attend.
On Friday they will be at Padiham Town Hall from 9am to 1pm, and St Peter’s Centre, Burnley, from 2pm to 6pm.
On Tuesday, August 6 they will be at Accrington Library from 9am to 1pm and Clitheroe Library from 2pm to 6pm.
Finally, on Thursday, August 8 they will be at Colne Library from noon to 2pm and at Nelson Christ Church from 3pm to 5pm.

Osteoporosis is a condition which affects the bones, causing them to become weak and fragile and more likely to break.
These fractures most commonly occur in the spine, wrist and hips but can affect other bones such as the arm or pelvis.
