A NELSON florist was part of a winning team at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Tatton Park Flower Show.
Janet Boast, who owns Going Dutch in Manchester Road, was one of five people behind Interflora’s Time Frames design, which triumphed in the ‘Best Exhibit in the Floral Design Studio’ category.
Interflora has also scooped two gold medals at the show.
Mrs Boast also runs a second Going Dutch in Standish Street, Burnley, with her husband Peter.
One of her colleagues on the Interflora team, David Ragg, said: “Time Frames is a real tribute to florists and how the world of floristry has changed and developed, as well as looking at the passing of times generally.
“The flowers used are synonymous with each decade and by teaming these with iconic images and design, we try to bring each decade to life.”
Rhys Hughes, president of Interflora, said: “Each and every one of our florists around the country has the vision and skill to create something spectacular.”
