A COMPETITION for the best dressed Christmas window in Great Harwood has been launched, with a £100 cash prize for the winning entry.
Residents will vote for the best themed window by completing a nomination form, found in most local shops, and handing it in to the library, Overheads, Glebe St Post office or the area council office.
The winner will be selected from a shortlist drawn up from residents' nominations by judges Coun Lynn Wilson and Coun David Mason, chair and vice chair of Great Harwood Area Council.
The closing date is December 11 and judging will take place the following day, followed by a presentation of the £100 prize, donated by Danley Engineering Services.
