A car skidded down a motorway embankment near Accrington after heavy rain caused it to aquaplane.
Fire chiefs said two other cars were also involved in the incident on the M65 motorway near junction seven of the east bound carriageway around 5.30pm lyesterday.
Firefighters said the driver was not injured and already out of the vehicle when they got there.
