CONCERN is growing for a woman who has been missing for six weeks.
Renata Israel, 51, went to an appointment on Hope Street, Darwen, on Sunday, June 16 at 12.30pm but never returned home.
She was spotted at Accrington bus station on July 14, but has not made any contact with friends or family.
Renata has shoulder-length curly, ginger hair and was wearing a navy blazer or jacket, light blouse, brown trousers, black and white baseball cap and sunglasses, carrying a patterned handbag and a pink/red suitcase.
Insp Graham Lister, of Blackburn police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of Renata and would appeal to anyone who may have seen her. Following this sighting, we believe that she remains in the local area but we appeal directly to her to contact either friends, family or the police to let us know that she is safe and well.”
Anyone with information is asked to call Lancashire Police on 101.
