A TOTAL of 21 college students have been offered apprenticeships at East Lancashire’s hospitals, following a successful recruitment event.
Students from Blackburn College, Nelson and Colne College, Accrington and Rossendale College and Training 2000 turned out, with on-the-spot interviews offered to students.
Martin Morgan, director of estates at East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “I would like to thank everyone involved in the process that has culminated in such a well-run and professionally delivered day.
“The quality of the candidates was high and everyone made a real effort to impress the interviewers.
“We have been able to offer apprenticeships to a total of 21 candidates.”
