FURTHER education students have turned their studies into an e-book to showcase their talents to prospective employers.
The online book, called Insight, features work produced by Art, Fashion and Design students from Blackburn College’s University Centre and is available to download free from iTunes.
The innovative project follows on from the college’s first e-book launch earlier this year, which focused on the work created by students following a cultural trip to Namibia.
John Harrison, head of of the arts, humanities and social science department at the college, said: “The launch of the end-of-year exhibition at university centre at Blackburn College is always a deeply rewarding experience for those involved.
“Our students have worked for many months to display skills and knowledge gleaned from the many lectures, workshops and seminars they have attended.
“Hundreds if not thousands of visitors will see their final presentations.
“And the e-book offers them a new platform to show employers just how much they can achieve.”
