SOME of East Lancashire’s finest autumnal attractions will feature in this year’s South Pennines Walk Ride Festival.
Promoted by Pennine Prospects, the moorland regeneration agency, it will take place between September 7 and 22, spanning the Lancashire and Yorkshire hills. Whitworth Rushcart celebrations is included on September 8 along with an open day at the same time at Peers Clough Farm.
The following day walkers can take a tour of Hurstwood or wait until September 14 for a trek above Cliviger.
