AROUND 1,500 people turned up to the second annual Tockholesbury festival at The Royal Arms in Tockholes.
The event, which ran from 5pm on Friday through to Saturday night, saw performances from a host of local bands. On Friday, they were Alex Buckley, The Jones Street Aces, Falter, Luva Gunk, Dan The Thief, Sons, Darwen Metallers and Today They Are Older who launched their album The Evergreen Theory the same night.
On Saturday, two stages saw performances from R.Y.A.N., Rime Suspex, The Wagon Wheels, India Mill, Pigwitch, Fire In The Empire, Riders in The Ska, Cassini Club, A New Line Related, The Slydes, Bitter Harvest, Nicky Bauers, The Walrus, Tony Sharples, New York Tourists, Bad Cardigan and The Dead Romantics.
Organiser Jamie Carter said: “It was great.
“It was bigger and better than last year and I am already thinking about next year’s event.”
