AN open-air production of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors is set to be staged at Gawthorpe Hall, in Padiham, later this month.
The classic performance around mistaken identity will be presented by Off the Ground Theatre at the venue on July 27.
The play tells the story of two sets of identical twins, and the confusion that follows when they are accidentally separated at birth, then miraculously thrown together again.
Rachel Roberts, Lancashire County Council’s museum manager at Gawthorpe, said: “This is a fantastic outdoor Shakespeare play for all the family to enjoy, with lots of clowning, and laugh-out-loud moments.
“People are welcome to bring deck chairs, picnics and refreshments, together with something warm to wear, in case it gets a bit chilly later in the evening.”
Tickets are £12 for adults, £7 for senior citizens, and £5 for under-21s.
