TECHNIQUES to create works of art are being developed at a gallery this weekend.
Visitors to Accrington’s Haworth Art Gallery will be taught how to use simple methods to make impressive landscape or creative pictures.
Tutor Shirley Williams will show people how they can experiment with colourful wool fibres to create a landscape or picture of their choice. Visitors will be able to try a ‘needle felting’ technique in which little water or rolling is involved. All fibres and needles are included in the course fee of £20.
The session on Saturday between 12.30pm and 3.30pm is part of the Ribble Valley Creative Stitchers exhibitions which are on view at the gallery until Sunday.
