A DAD who sent his 10-year-old daughter into East Lancashire 'drugs dens' to pick up heroin, could be facing jail.
Burnley Crown Court heard how the 34-year-old man had the child knocking on doors to ask for drugs and then handing over a note.
The defendant, from Brierfield, who cannot be named for legal reasons, admitted two charges of being concerned in the supply of heroin. The defendant had also been accused of child cruelty.
He was bailed until August 14, for a pre-sentence report and was warned by Recorder William T C Smith that all options would be considered.
Prosecutor Martin Hackett said: "The position which the daughter was placed in is a significant aggravating feature when it comes to sentence."
