PUPILS have been fund-raising in memory of a Royal Marine Commando who died aged 19.
Youngsters at Bacup and Rawtenstall Grammar School, where Wes Clutterbuck was a pupil, held several fundraising events including a non-uniform day, bake sales and a staff versus students football match.
All proceeds, £420 in total, went to Help for Heroes.
Wes, from Whitworth, died after being punched to the ground following a row in Rochdale on June 29.
Reece Key, 20, of Waithlands Road, Rochdale, has admitted manslaughter and is due to be sentenced at Manchester Crown Court on July 29.
