A HOLIDAY park in Billington has raised £1,600 for Help for Heroes with a Party in the Park.
Hackings Holiday Caravan Park holds the event every year and co-owner Linden Hacking said: “In recent years, this park has won numerous awards for environmental excellence and customer service, so we were keen to use this event to say a big thank you to our dedicated staff and loyal customers for their achievements, as well as raise money for what we all feel strongly is such an important charity.”
The 400 visitors were entertained by musician Wayne Allen and enjoyed refreshments provided by Whalley Wines and Amy's Delicatessen.
Patrick Taylor was one of the happy customers and said: “The open day is the only time each year when everybody on the park meets up.
“Together with numerous family and friends visiting, this event created a great party atmosphere for everybody.”
