A 25-YEAR-OLD man assaulted a Clitheroe landlady after she had ejected him for her pub.
Blackburn magistrates heard trouble flared in the Buck Inn between Jordan Robinson and a group of his friends and locals.
The disagreement became physical and Sharon Herbert and her partner separated the two factions and then ushered Robinson and friends out of the pub.
But after she refused to let Robinson back in to collect his top Miss Herbert was punched in the eye.
Robinson, of Valley lane, Shadsworth, pleaded guilty to assault. He was remanded on bail for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
Damian Pickup, defending, said his client was not aware he had hit the landlady.
“He has pleaded guilty on the basis that he was reckless,” said Mr Pickup. “He did not deliberately assault Miss Herbert but accepts she was struck in the face in the course of a general disturbance. He is genuinely horrified that he assaulted this lady.”
