FIRE crews were called when a rubbish fire in a back yard led to damage at a property.
The blaze at Green Street in Burnley began with a householder’s rubbish fire yesterday. Ashes from the rubbish fire were disposed of near the guttering of the property, however they still contained embers.
Fire crews were called when a blaze at 4.30pm caused damage to guttering, vines and the wall on one side of the property. The spread of the fire also caused damage to the roof of an outhouse.
