A DARWEN nursery was judged ‘good’ after an inspection by Ofsted.
Oscar Bears, in Lynwood Avenue, maintained its rating from a previous inspection three years ago.
Inspector Frank Kelly noted: “Staff demonstrate a good understanding about how children learn through play. The good engagement of parents means that staff remain familiar with children’s unique needs.
“The management team is committed to developing the quality of the provision for the children.”
Nursery manager Sally Halliwell said: “We are delighted our provision has been rated good and that Ofsted has recognised our commitment to developing the quality of our nursery, especially over the past year since the appointment of our new management team.”
