A SHOPLIFTER put a hand-held vacuum cleaner down his trousers before trying to leave a Blackburn store without paying.
Blackburn court heard that on another occasion prolific thief Nawaz Khan removed security tags from a leather jacket before putting it on and trying to walk off.
Khan, 33, of Preston New Road, Blackburn, pleaded guilty to two charges of theft and failing to surrender to bail. He was remanded in custody for a report.
Basharat Ditta, defending, said Khan stole for a drug habit.
