Work to knock down Blackburn’s old market hall to make way for a new bus station is running on time, as this photo shows.
Blackburn with Darwen’s regeneration boss Maureen Bateson said: “The demolition of the former three-day market is nearing completion. It is expected to be complete by end of this month and then work will begin on the interim bus station which will be finished by mid-September. The six-day market will then be demolished.”
