A MEMORIAL game for a Bacup footballer who died last October has been postponed as the two clubs cannot agree a date.
The Bryan Herbert tribute match is due to be held between two of his old clubs, Bacup and Rossendale Borough FC (formerly Bacup Borough FC) and Stacksteads St Joseph’s FC.
Mr Herbert, 27, died eight weeks after he suffered a stroke following a training session on August 15.
A spokesman for Bacup and Rossendale Borough FC said: “It is hoped that a firm date will be announced in due course.”
