A WOMAN was racially abused during a row in Burnley town centre.
The victim, a 27-year-old woman from Burnley, ended up in a conversation with a man and woman walking their dog.
Police said the discussion ended with the victim allegedly being racially abused. The incident happened on Wednesday, July 3 between 4.35pm and 4.50pm on The Mall.
PC Trevor Syrett from Burnley Police said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident to come forward.”
Call police on 101, quoting number 911 of July 3.
