BURNLEY’S largest private sector business has won a major regional award to recognise the company’s work in the community.
The Business in the Community 2013 North West Work Inspiration Local Impact award recognised Aircelle for hosting last year’s Work Inspiration event.
Aircelle came up against tough and worthy opposition at a gala dinner at Manchester Monastery, but the business came away victorious.
Helen Gopsill, HR director said: “We’re delighted that we’ve been recognised for the Work Inspiration event.
“We see it as a key plank in our drive to develop skills and acquire talent.
“We were determined that our event would not only inspire young people in Burnley, but also engage with the town’s businesses and wider community to create a sustainable legacy.
“For that reason, we’re very proud to have recently been involved in Burnley’s second Work Inspiration event at Thomas Whitham Sixth Form College.”
