JAKE Berry MP is jumping out of an aeroplane for the newly-formed Kids in Rossendale charity.
The Rossendale MP has linked up with Paula Riley, of Riley’s Butchers in Crawshawbooth, to raise money for the charity, which is aimed at children aged six years and above.
Sam Aston, Coronation Street’s Chesney Brown, has already agreed to be an ambassador for the charity and Jake has now signed up.
Mr Berry said: “I really wanted to get involved as it’s about my community.
“I did a skydive in 2007 for Rossendale Hospice and enjoyed it, so it seemed natural to volunteer to do it again.
“I haven’t got a date for it yet but I can’t wait.”
