MORE than 30 veteran cars were due to take part in the ‘Red Rose Rally’ veteran car run today.
The cars will meet in Chipping in the Ribble Valley, and will then pass through several more Lancashire villages before stopping for lunch at Leighton Hall, near Carnforth.
The event is organised by the Veteran Car Club of Great Britain, which has has more than 1,000 members who own cars manufactured prior to 1918.
There are more than 70 members in the north west, some with very old and original cars.
