THE sun beat down on Beat-Herder festival as thousands of music lovers descended on Gisburn for three days of live music, comedy, and entertainment.
Musical heavyweights including Groove Armada, Jaguar Skills and Booka Shade joined local acts across 11 stages.
The festival, in its seventh year, combines live music with DJ sets, creative workshops, face painting, food, and stalls.
Each year also has a dedicated fancy dress theme, and many festival-goers joined in with this year’s ‘T’ theme.
Beat-Herder, which sold out once again, is independently funded and does not receive any sponsorship or funding from corporate organisations.
Nick Chalmers, one of the founders and organisers, said: “Without a doubt, the best Beat-Herder yet. We couldn't have asked for better weather or a more electric crowd – both of which contributed to an amazing atmosphere.
“We saw some unbeatable performances and we're delighted our two new arenas went down a storm.”
