POLICE are appealing for information after three horses were spooked in a road incident.
Officers are asking people to come forward over an incident in Hapton involving a bus which saw a horse fall in the road.
It took place on Wednesday, May 1, on the A579 Burnley Road close to a roundabout between 4.15pm and 4.30pm but police have only just released the details.
The horses became spooked by the bus and one of the animals fell over in the road.
The rider was unhurt.
Following the fall, there was a queue of traffic while the riders managed to get the horse up.
Police want to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have witnessed something, to contact them.
