A COLLEGE student is diving straight into the deep end after completing her degree in contemporary fashion.
Lauren Dwyer, 23, has set up her own company selling swimwear and is hoping to see her designs within the pages of Vogue magazine.
The Blackburn College student said: “Luckily, my brother works in Dubai as a manager for Mercedes cars and he has been able to help me to set up contacts in Dubai to sell my swimwear.
“I have also had contact with a company in Darwen who are interested in investing in my designs, so it is all going really well.
“My designs are centred around print and although I am concentrating on swimwear at the moment, I would like to go into soft furnishing as well.
“I am aiming for the high end and I would love my designs to appear in Vogue and for someone like Kate Middleton to wear them.”
