VISUAL art and design students showcased their work at a celebration of their success over their two-year course.
A Level textiles, graphic design, digital photography and fine art students at St Mary’s College, in Blackburn, put on a display of their pieces, which was on show for perspective pupils.
Many of the artists are progressing on to university, including Martha Blackburn, former Blessed Trinity RC High, in Burnley, pupils, who has been offered a place at Manchester Metropolitan on their textiles degree course.
Andrea Westall head of department, said: “The class of 2013 has been an exceptionally hard working and talented group.
“They have been a delight to work with and we look forward to hearing about their undoubted success in the future.”
“This year 59 students have studied the visual art courses at St Mary’s, all coming from a wide range of schools such as Blessed Trinity in Burnley and St Bede’s in Blackburn.”
